みなさん、こんにちは。唐津国際映画祭事務局です。
前回の唐津ライジングサン国際映画祭で大好評だった企画がカムバック！
ランディ・シュミッドさんと息子のディランさん親子による「アニメーション動画ワークショップ」が映画祭期間中の7月12日（土）に開催決定となりましたのでお知らせです！
ワークショップでは、UCLAで学びエミー賞を受賞したランディさんとその息子のディランさんによるレクチャーとお手本をもとに、アニメーション動画の基礎を学び、オリジナル動画を実際に作ります。英語を使ってみたい！と思う方も、英語が話せない方も安心してご参加いただける内容です。子供も大人も楽しめるアニメーション制作に触れられる絶好の機会、気軽にご参加ください。
ーアニメーション動画ワークショップ 概要ー
■講師：Randy Schmidt（ランディ・シュミッド）さん、Dylan（ディラン）さん
■日時：2025年7月12日（土）10:00〜12:30
■会場：呉服町商店街「義経の館」
■対象者：小学3年生以上の25名様限定 ＊親子ペア参加、大人のみの参加歓迎
■参加料：一律 1人500円

ー講師プロフィールー
Randy Schmidt （ランディ・シュミッド）
米国カリフォルニア州出身。UCLAのフィルムスクールを卒業後、20世紀フォックス映画会社（現：20世紀スタジオ）勤務を経て東京へ移住。17年にわたりCBSのスタッフカメラマン・エディター・プロデューサーとしてニュース速報やミニドキュメンタリーを手掛ける。拠点を東京に移し、アジア全域を担当し、2022年には自身の手掛けたニュース番組でエミー賞を受賞した。息子ディランとともに、ストップモーションとコンピューターアニメーションを製作。
Let’s Have Fun with Parents and Children! Animation Video Workshop
Welcome to the application form for the “Let’s Have Fun with Parents and Children! Animation Video Workshop“ at the Karatsu International Film Festival. Please review the details below before applying.
■Lecturer：Randy Schmidt,Dylan
■Date & Time：Saturday, July 12, 2025 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM (approx. 150 minutes)
■Venue：“Yoshitsune no Yakata” on Gofukumachi Shotengai Street
■Workshop Details：Learn the basics of animation through instructor lecture videos and sample demos, then create your own original animation.
＊No English skills required—everyone is welcome!
■Who Can Join：Open to children from 3rd grade onward (max 25 participants).
Parent–child pairs or adults alone are both welcome.
■Fee：¥500 per person (parents/guardians pay the same and may accompany)
＊If you wish to register multiple participants, please submit the form separately for each person.
